I've got the wife onboard, just waiting on the official dates.  Will this be at an OHV park, or are these public trails? 

As far as I know Moab is all public.  I don't know a lot about the area other than it's the "meca" of off road.  There is a ton of information at UCORA.  I voted on early June dates.

Doubt I will go fuel alone is at  $1020 right now that doesn't count for it to go back up.  Also to drive it will be 24 hours of driving to get there.  Unless something changes I am not planing on going.  To much money for me to do that right now.

Moose,  we may want to discuss this at the September meeting and possibly on the Officer forum.  I think we need to check into fund raisers and possibly sponsors between now and C4C.  It would be nice if we could raise the gas money for everyone to go.

Is Pizza Hut still doing the pizza card fund raiser? That wouldn’t break the bank for us, but it could contribute a little. My family eats pizza a couple times a week because its one of the few things my daughter eats. This would be convenient as far as the budget goes and would help the club.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming up. I’m just thinking out of the box here and may be completely off my rocker, but I wonder if one of the grocery stores or restaurants would sponsor a drive for us to fix and take meals to the people that can’t make it to their family dinner? We could make up flyers with advertised pricing and let people buy their own meals to be delivered, or send a meal to someone else. We could advertise that people could send Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner to Firemen (they usually cook their own, though), Policemen, shut-ins, factory workers, etc. Churches could send meals to their shut ins, people with family far away could have dinner without the cost and hassle of cooking or going out. The club would make a percentage for preparing and delivering the food. Sponsers would be listed on our flyer. This may be completely unreasonable….just a thought.

If we raise funds, it should all go to furthering God's kingdom. 

i like the way your thinking hot rod, that is a big undertaking, but anything would be helpfull. and Farm_Built i couldnt agree more. short and simple. I believe to be the most effective at spreading Gods love,  we must focus on outreach and growing the club locally  to spread the seed close so we can watch it grow and water it :). I will never be closed minded to anyones ideas on any subject, especially on how we could spread Gods word. so Keep the ideas flowing. We are still a small group but i know we can make a difference in this area. I love the fact that i can take my whole family on a wheeling trip with this group of followers and know in my heart that my children will see how a Christian is supposto act and lead in this world of ours.  On a personal note _________ start saving and putting that spair change back to be saving for this upcoming summer !!!!! sell that old lawnmower, have a couple of garage sales, sell a gun, eat out supper one less time a week , stop drinking starbucks in the am ???? ect....... what ever it takes to start saving so as many of us as possible can be involved in Moab this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moose I saw where you were going to make a vacation out of it, do you know yet if you're going out early or staying late?  I too am going to stay longer than just a few days out there so if you're going early maybe we could convoy out.
