Anyone interested in a run to Hawk Pride?  It will be December before I will be able to go.  They will be open Sat 12/4, Sun 12/5, Sat 12/18, Sun 12/19, Sat  1/1/11 and Sun 1/2/11.

I would love to go but the only free weekend I have after October 30th between now and January 14 is December 11 and they are not open.  Just remember to check your skid plates.  That place is nothing but trash can size boulders.

I'd go, but my Jeep is undergoing a major operation and won't be ready till afer the first of the year most likely.

Have you been to HP yet?  That place is AWESOME!  My favorite park to wheel right now.  It's still a little rough around the edges since it's so new but gets better every time I go...give them another year or 2 and it will be out of this world.  They are geared towards larger rigs and buggies so be careful if you don't want damage, but there are bypasses for most of the harder stuff.  Talk to them at the office before you hit the trails and tell them how hard you are wanting to wheel and they will point you in the right direction.  I was wanting to go wheel again in December, but I've got to get my brakes fixed, fix a hub seal that's leaking and replace a shackle I bent out of whack last time I was there.  Have fun!

i would love to go but >>>>>>> two things i broke an axle and blew a hub at hotsprings and its duck season. but this feb, march sounds good. we need to get a quick run in , so we can all recover " trucks, and finances" before we go up to harlan !!!!! this june.

I think some guy's are planning a one day HP run on 2/05.  I'm not sure but I might go just to stretch my legs.

I have to change the O-rings in BOTH ARBs and won't have the time or place before Feb, so I won't get to make that one.  This club's Spring Run is scheduled for the end of March....hopefully I can have everything working correctly by then.  Speaking of the Spring Run....any details yet?

ya hotrod so far the sensus is hotsprings on Mar 25-27, but its still up in the air and not set in concrete yet

Ok, looks like I'm for sure going on this Hawk Pride run on 2/5.  If anyone can free up a day it's less than 140 miles and takes just over 2 hours.  Perfect Day Trip!

If anyone can free up some time it would be a great time to get familiar with the park for future runs.  We will have several guides that know the park very well.

I have a dentist appointment at 8:00.  I'll have to miss this one too!  Hawk Pride is about 45 min from where I stays during the week.
